ROAD ROUTES
Quick rolling flat roads leading up to some steep climbs around Camelback and Mummy Mountain.
Tough climbs in a small section of town.
A ride that slowly gains elevation up until the turnaround. For bonus climbs continue up the bike path at the end of the neighborhood.
Plenty of climbing and some fast descents through Fountain Hills leading up to, you guessed it, a nine mile long hill.
Longer mileage from the shop. Stop for food in Cave Creek before heading back.
Open desert riding with a little bit of water thrown in. Refill water at the Saguaro Lake Marina.
An out and back where the turn around point is at a low point. Don't enjoy the descent too much as you'll be climbing back up it!
Recently repaved, AZ-88 has tight turns, steeps climbs and descents, and beautiful views. Stop by Tortilla Flat to refill on water and food.
The closest thing to actually climbing a mountain without leaving town. The last bit is the steepest!
Beeline is a favorite for triathletes with few stops. Prepare for a nearly forty mile stretch with about five intersections.
